High alumina insulating brick is made from bauxite, alumina above 48%, porus structure shaped by foam process and method of EPS ignition loss.
Its main advantages include high intensity, low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal stability, very small reheat linear change, outstands erosion and corrosion resistance.
High alumina porus insulating brick can be used in the insulation layer and the area without strong erosion and crushing of high temperature molten materials. When connecting with flames directly , the surface temperature of high alumina insulation brick should no higher than 1350℃。Porosity 66%~73%,Cold crushing strength1~8MPa
They are an ideal kind of energy-concerning products, and widely used as lining or insulating layers of various industrial furnaces and kilns in metallurgical industry, machine building industry, ceramic industry, chemical industry, etc. Recommended service temperature: Less than 1450℃.
High qulity high alumina bricks can be used in direct contact with the flame of the furnace lining ,but should not be used directly by slay erosion occasions.
